This week, we take a dip into the chilly methane seas of Titan with "Kraken Mare", an atmospheric sci-fi horror thriller from friends of the show Matthew McLean and Robert Cudmore of the Audio Production Podcast.
When plucky British astronauts descend into Kraken Mare, the largest sea of Saturn's strangest moon, they don't know just what they'll find. And they certainly aren't expecting what's about to find THEM.
Enjoy!

This week on Radio Drama Revival, it’s the comic sci-fi thriller Wolf 359. This genre-bending show, by turns endearing, intense, terrifying, and hilarious, is a delight to listen to - and its stars are a delight to talk to!
Wolf 359 is the story of a lonely little space station orbiting a red dwarf star, and the four personalities aboard it: Commander Renée Minkowski, a badass astronaut who has literally memorized the book on deep-space survival; Alexander Hilbert, a scientist who may or may not be utterly nuts; Hera, one of the most sardonic artificial intelligences in audio fiction; and Doug Eiffel, the lazy-but-lovable communications officer (and narrator).
Join me as I play Episode 10 of Wolf 359 - “Extreme Danger Bug” - and then sit down with Emma Sherr-Ziarko and Zach Valenti, two of the show’s stars. It’s sure to be a wild ride.

This week, we take a trip to the drizzly English village of Piffling Vale, where undertaker Rudyard Funn discovers he's no longer the only mortician in town in Episode 1 of the fabulous indie sitcom WOODEN OVERCOATS.
Later in the show, I talk with David K. Barnes and Andy Goddard, the head writer and co-producer of WOODEN OVERCOATS. Fun is had, velvet is worn, and we all learn a valuable lesson about Sitcom Theory.

This week:
It's a non-stop carnival of freaky tiki madness as I chat with Rich Wentworth, the co-creator of Hadron Gospel Hour.
Rich and I talk about glam rock, how he and co-creator Michael McQuilkin got started in audio drama, and whether or not everything is going to be okay (spoiler alert: it is going to be okay).
Our feature this week is Season 1, Episode 8 of Hadron Gospel Hour: "HeadHatz and Horror Hosts".
Mike brings a stylish new hat into the Hadron Bunker, but Oppenheimer is far too busy with his continuing education class to notice the sinister nature of his pal's new chapeau. Will Oppenheimer, A.S.H. LE and Cyrus be able to stop this menace in time? Or will the crew find themselves bowlered over? (S'aright? S'okay.)
Enjoy, folks!

Witchcraft!
Charlatans!
A Canadian plot to annex the United States?(!)
David begins with a brief bit of history on John R. Brinkley, the notorious Goat Gland Doctor of Milford, Kansas. A bit of quackery seemed relevant given today's episode, which features an episode of Alba Salix, Royal Physician, a fantasy hospital comedy. The episode we're playing features an ethically dubious patent medicine.
After the feature, David has a chat with Alba Salix show creator Eli McIlveen.

Well, how to say this.
After 9 years, long-time RDR host Fred Greenhalgh passes the torch to incoming host David Rheinstrom. We take a moment to reflect on the amazing journey - 450 hours of entertainment! - in RDR's first nine years, and focus on the great state of current audio drama, and the future ahead of it.
Why David? Well, David is a writer and game maker who was living in Chicago before the cool salt air of the Pacific was too alluring and he came out to Mountain View, CA, home of Google and their army of Schwinn bikes. He first got into radio theater in 2007, when he and two friends produced three original shows – Sky Pirates!, The Human Chord, and Simon Colt – with the KWUR Theater of the Air, their college radio theater company. For his day job, David works as a grammarian at an education nonprofit in the San Francisco Bay area. Prior to coming on board with Radio Drama Revival, David was assistant sound editor, writer, and producer with the cult-hit post-apocalyptic podcast Our Fair City.
What's Fred off to next? All sorts of things, some of which are revealed in this podcast. This is definitely not the end!
